By observing children caregivers are taking the time to really get to know each child that they observe. This allows them to make individual plans for the children and for the children to have the opportunity to really flourish and grow while in the care of an observant childcare provider.

Observations and documentations are very important because it helps us track a child's development and behaviors. Having documentation helps in making plans for each child to further progress their development.

Observations are helpful because they provide knowledge of where a child is at in their development. This allows the possibility of measuring improvement, and coming up with ways to address developmental challenges. It also allows us to know the children we serve better, leading to increased student success.

Observations help identify a child's strengths and weakness so we can create curriculum that meets their needs and helps them succeed. Through observation, a teacher may notice something they would not have otherwise.

It helps teachers recognize the child's strength and weakness, how they learn, what they like and dislike, how they see themselves and others. How well they play with others.

Observation helps gain information to help a teacher develop a better understanding of where a child is at and where a child needs to be. Your observations can help you develop a plan on how to help a child grow and learn.

Information that we gain through observing is valuable because it gives us the chance to reflect on the way a child acted, and adjust our curriculum or schedule accordingly.

The information gained through observation is so important because it tells us what the individual child's strengths are and it allows us to detect areas where extra assistance or attention may be needed. The information gained from observation can be shared with families who are wanting to know what their child's progress has been like in your program. Also, the information gained from observation is objective and not altered by opinion or emotion. It gives us a chance to reflect, assess, plan ahead and problem solve.

The information gained through completing assessments is very valuable and has many benefits. The teacher can gauge how much the children are learning and better/further her instruction in the areas the children need more assistance in. The assessments shed light to the truth of the development of a child, which will show if the child is in need of any further assistance to further the development of cognitive, social and emotional, and physical areas. The teacher's role is responsible for staying aware of the average development rates for the age group being observed. Curriculum is benefited by active and frequent observations occurring in the classroom.

information gained through observation is so valuable because it creates a well oiled machine and a functioning environment. Learning about our kids helps us set the stage for a positive and sound learning environment and for the kids to feel heard and respected.

The information gained though observation is valuable in a number of ways. First of all observations can be used to discern each child's individual interests in order to create an exciting and engaging curriculum. Observations can also be used to evaluate wether or not a child is developing within the developmental continuum.

Formal Observation and assessment appear to be the best way to notice and document and make systematic changes in your curriculum to adapt to each child's needs and enhance each child's experience.

Whether formal like a graphic or rating scale or timed observation or a more informal anecdotal or portfolio assessment, taking pre planned time to observe a specific behavior or collection of behaviors in your children will give you at least a relatively accurate recording of a situation or pattern of the child's development socially, physically and mentally. It will also give you a better sense of what the child is successful with, what delights them and how you can use this information to scaffold the building of the skills they are struggling with

Finally, as Leigh mentioned in the video, it will help you build a "cohesive classroom" where everyone feels important and all children feel confident they are seen and heard and their educational, emotional and developmental needs are being met. This is also especially important for us as educators because indeed, this is our goal.

The information gained through observation is very valuable because it helps us reflect on what areas a child is in line with typical development continuum for his or her age and in what ways they may need some specific help or targeted practice to reach the typical development continuum. This can help us create an effective plan of action that will improve the child's development.

Why is the information gained through observation so valuable?
I feel it is valuable because you can figure out the childs needs. It helps you to be able to teach the child. It also can show you if there are any issues and if you can fix them to do so or it may need some outside help.

Observation records are needed because they provide a frame of reference for the development of every child. Without observation, there would be no way of understanding the children's needs, development and their strengths/abilities. Observation allows us to reflect on what works for the proper development of the child and what areas of focus are most necessary to accomplish development.

The information gained from recorded observation is so valuable because it helps us learn more about that child's behavior, it helps us find problem areas we may have not seen before and with that information we can help the child by planning lessons that aide their problem areas.

The information gained through abservation can be used to assest the child and find out what stage the is and where he needs to be. Also the teacher can share the observation to the child's parent.

Why is the information gained through observation so valuable? Because it give the caregiver insight and understanding in how the child is developing. It also allows you to connect with the children, foster children's competence and success and also respect and appreciate children. It will also help with successful assessment of a child when needed and during reviews with parents or other educators.

Observation is valuable because it allows us to see where the child is at in developing, both as a individual and as a team. We are able to observe their behavior, physical, cognitive, and health development. Then as time goes on we observe how much either the child as grown developmentally or where they are lacking at in the mild stones.

Observing is so important as it gives teachers the basis to make a careful analysis of the child's overall development. By reflecting upon the observation the teacher is better equipped to give an accurate assessment of the student's overall progress.

Observation is super important to not only individually get to know the child and his learning styles and background, but to assess his progress against typical milestones. In a portfolio, teachers can then document how he improves or where he excels, so that as time goes on, they can recall and refer back to how far the child has come.

The information obtained during observations is important because it tells the observer if the child is reaching developmental milestones, how they interact with other children, how they deal with transitions, what their interests are, what they are learning, what strengths/weaknesses they have, just to name a few.

Information gained during observations is so valuable because it is the way we know where each child is functioning developmentally in all areas of development. We are able to notice any concerns or delays in development by doing observations often and thoroughly. The observations also allow us to build relationship with the child and their family. We learn more about the child the more we observe.

The information gained through observation is essential to creating the curriculum for the class and planning activities that will cater to the needs of the students. It is also very valuable to helping support each student individually and knowing where each child is developmentally, so the teacher knows how much support and what kind of support to give each student.

The information gained through observation is important because it gives us a better understanding on if the child is developing on time. We can compare observations to others of their age and see where they are at with their peers. We can take note of what needs to be worked on and what doesn't.

When we observe the children in the classroom it gives us understanding on how the children are developing. This information is essential so you can know how to develop your curriculum and help all the children learn and keep on track for their ages. Observation is helpful to know if there are any delays in the children.
