Sometimes little differences and misunderstandings can divide a team while working in an early learning program. It is vital to constructively confront and deal with even uncomfortable issues. Unresolved conflicts bring team morale down and can create an unwelcoming environment for both children and adults.
The foundation for building relationships is to provide clear and open communication as well as a comfortable environment for parents and childcare professionals. Relationships and communication are not isolated to this module on Professional Practice. The practice should be interwoven throughout all of our work with young children, colleagues and families.
